This policy explains what personal data B17 Studios collects when you visit b17studios.com or b17studios.no, how we use it, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The data controller is B17 Invest AS, the parent company of B17 Studios, located in Gamle Fredrikstad, Norway. Contact: hei@b17studios.com.
2. What we collect
Visitor analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics — a cookie-free, privacy-friendly analytics service provided by our hosting provider. Vercel does not store IP addresses, does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. The data collected is aggregated: page views, referring domain, browser type and country — nothing that identifies you personally.
Email contact. When you write to hei@b17studios.com, we store the message content, name and email address for as long as needed to respond and potentially establish a customer relationship.
We do not use cookies. The site sets no cookies that require consent. For that reason we do not display a cookie banner.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Aggregate visitor statistics — to understand what works and improve the site. Basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Responding to enquiries and delivering services — to reply to email and deliver work. Basis: contract or pre-contractual measures (art. 6(1)(b)).
- Accounting — required retention of invoices and contracts. Basis: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We only share data with providers necessary to operate the site and services:
- Vercel (hosting + cookie-free visitor analytics) — technical server logs and aggregate statistics
- Email provider — to receive and respond to enquiries
5. Retention
Aggregate statistics are kept as long as they have analytical value. Email correspondence is deleted when the customer relationship ends, except for what must be retained by law (accounting documents for 5 years under the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act).
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you
- request correction or deletion
- restrict or object to processing
- data portability
- file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe we breach data protection rules

We use established technical and organisational safeguards, including TLS encryption, access control and regular dependency updates.
